Coronas Artist Eva Castellenoz: Nyssa artist Eva Castellanoz received an NEA National Heritage Fellowship for her work preserving Mexican traditional arts. She uses wire, paper and wax to make beautiful flowers by hand. She's descended from Brazeros, the workers who migrated north to work in the factories and fields during World War II. Woodworker Mike DeForest: Michael DeForest is a furniture maker and artist who teaches at the Oregon College of Art and Craft and at Catlin Gabel School. He's evolved from creating balanced, high-end furniture to a much quirkier style.
